Quarantine sites at Port Area, Manila remain COVID-19 free

Quarantine sites at the Port Area in Manila, where returning Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) undergo 14-day quarantine, remain Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) free.

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) stated that there are currently a total of 331 OFWs quarantined in MV Saint John Paul II, MV Saint Anthony De Padua and Eva Macapagal Terminal.

The PCG added that 276 OFWs have returned to their respective provinces after undergoing a 14-day quarantine since April 14. They returned home safely with the help of the Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA), Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), Philippine Ports Authority (PPA), and the Department of Transportation (DOTr). – PTV News
