Palace reiterates ‘not to be complacent and to follow health protocols’

The Palace reminded the public not to be “complacent” and to follow protocols regardless of the quarantine measures implemented in their areas after receiving reports of people flocking to malls and not abiding by the physical distancing measures.

“We must understand that we have started to slowly ease restrictions in order to revitalize the economy, and not because we are safe. We must learn from other countries like South Korea, which contained the spread of the virus but later experienced a spike in COVID-19 cases when citizens became relaxed,” Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque added. – Report from Mela Lesmoras
