IATF, DTI consider the re-opening of salons and dine-in options in GECQ areas

The Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) have been considering the re-opening of salons and dine-in options in areas placed under general enhanced community quarantine.

During the inspection of DTI Secretary Ramon Lopez and National Task Force against COVID-19 Chief Implementer Carlito Galvez Jr. of several food and salon establishments in a Pasay City mall, they showed the guidelines needed to be followed and implemented by the owners of the allowed establishments.

In salons and barber shops, customers are required to step into a foot bath, to have their temperature checked and sanitize using alcohol before they are allowed to enter. The same guidelines must be implemented in food establishments and markers must also be present for the customers’ guidance even in waiting areas. – PTV News
