DBM, COA extend hiring of contractual, JO workers

The Department of Budget and Management (DBM) and the Commission on Audit (COA) have extended the hiring of contractual and job order workers in the government agencies.

Under the Joint Circular Memorandum of the DBM and COA, the extension aims to ensure the continuous service of the agencies to the public amidst the effect of the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic on government operations.

The December 2020 deadline has been extended until December 31, 2022.

Government-owned and controlled corporation, constitutional bodies, and state universities and colleges are also included in the extension. – PTV News
