Spox. Roque denies running for senator in 2022


Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque denied that he will run for senator in the 2022 national elections.

Sec. Roque stated that in 2022 he wishes to return to his private life after he has experienced to be a government official.

“After what I’ve seen with the kind of media reporting and the kind of trolls the opposition has, I’m looking forward to retirement from government service.”

The presidential spokesperson had his first bid in the senatorial race for the 2019 midterm elections but eventually dropped due to health reasons. – Report from Mela Lesmoras
