CALABARZON police authorities have formed a composite body to probe the murder of Los Baños Mayor Cesar Perez.
In a report to PNP Chief, Police General Debold M Sinas, CALABARZON PNP Regional Director, Police Brigadier General Felipe Natividad, said a task group has been organized to coordinate all investigative efforts by the Regional CIDG, Crime Laboratory, Regional Intelligence Division, and Laguna PPO for the immediate solution of the case.
Sinas told Natividad to “exhaust all means to get to the bottom of the case and serve justice to the slain local executive.”
Natividad said, probers are reviewing all surveillance video footages recorded by security cameras installed around the Los Baños municipal complex and surrounding establishments.
He said investigators are also establishing the movements of Mayor Perez before and during the shooting to possibly gather more evidence that will assist in the investigation.
