PRRD registers for the national ID system

President Rodrigo R. Duterte registered his biometric information under the national identification system.

The President’s registration was done in Malcañang where Senator Christopher “Bong” Go and Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea also participated in the process.

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) conducted the said activity. The Chief Executive signed the Philippine Identification Act in August 2018 that aims to create a national ID for Filipinos and resident aliens. Report from Mela Lesmoras
