Caloocan LGU sets special vax rollout for residents who failed to return for 2nd dose

A special COVID-19 mass vaccination rollout was held in Caloocan City on Saturday (June 19) for vaccinees who failed to return for their second dose inoculation schedule.

These vaccine recipients are those who were inoculated with AstraZeneca on their first dose.

Eligible vaccinees were from the first dose recipients from March 21 to April 5 who were supposed to receive their second shot between June 8 and June 14.

According to the local government unit, at least 500 residents are expected to be inoculated with a second dose of AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccines today.

The Caloocan City began vaccinating the indigent population on June 16, with further prioritization to the 4Ps (Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program) beneficiaries. – Report from Rod Lagusad / CF-rir
