INC endorses BBM-Sara

The Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) has officially endorsed the tandem of presidential candidate Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and vice presidential bet Sara Duterte-Carpio.

The endorsement was confirmed in a NET 25 newscast on Tuesday evening, May 3.

In a statement, Marcos thanked the INC for its endorsement and vowed that the tandem will work for unity among the people.

Aside from Marcos Jr. and Duterte, INC also included in its endorsements the candidacy for senator of former Vice President Jejomar Binay, Taguig Representative Alan Peter Cayetano, ex-Philippine National Police Chief Guillermo Eleazar, and Sorsogon Governor Chiz Escudero.

Former senators Jinggoy Estrada and JV Ejercito, reelectionists Senator Sherwin Gatchalian, Senator Miguel Zubiri, and Senator Joel Villanueva, as well as Antique Representative Loren Legarda, Robin Padilla, and former Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark Villar were also endorsed. AG – gb
