‘Habagat’ to bring showers, clouds Saturday

The southwest monsoon or “habagat” will bring overcast skies with few rain showers, mostly to the western section of southern Luzon.

In its 4 a.m. bulletin on Saturday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) forecast partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms in Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

Light to moderate winds headed southwest to west will blow over the western section of Luzon, with slight to moderate coastal waters.

The rest of the country will experience similar wind speeds but headed southwest to south, with similar coastal water conditions.

The temperature in Metro Manila will range from 24°C to 33°C; Laoag City, 24°C to 31°C; Tagaytay City, 23°C to 30°C; Puerto Princesa City, 25°C to 31°C; Metro Cebu, 26°C to 31°C; and Metro Davao, 25°C to 33°C. – gb
