5.1-magnitude quake hits Antique town

A 5.1-magnitude quake hit Antique town, Saturday noon, Aug. 13, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported.

The tectonic quake hit 19 kilometers (km) southwest of Anini-Y at 12:25 p.m.

It had a depth of focus of 20 km.

Instrumental Intensity II was felt in Iloilo City Iloilo, while Instrumental Intensity I was felt in Sipalay City, Negros Occidental; Tapaz, Capiz; and Sebaste, Antique.

No damages and aftershocks are expected.
