NBI leadership structure reorganized

Newly appointed National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Director Medardo De Lemos has reorganized the leadership structure of the bureau in a bid to be more effective and responsive to the growing demands from its functions.

The move is in line with Republic Act No. 10867 or the new NBI Modernization and Reorganization Law.

Deputy Director Antonio Pagatpat has been tapped as the new deputy director for administration, while Assistant Director Jose Justo Yap was designated officer-in-charge (OIC) of the Office of the Deputy Director for Operations. 

Jose Doloiras was designated assistant director for investigation service, Roel Bolivar as OIC of the Office of the Assistant Director for Intelligence Service, and Dr. Rommel Papa as OIC of the Office of the Assistant Director for Forensic and Scientific Research Service.

Vicente De Guzman III was picked as the assistant director for Comptroller Service, Atty. Leo Edwin Leuterio as assistant director for Human Resource and Management Service, and Atty. Rustico Vigilia as OIC of Office of the Assistant Director for Legal Service.

Victor Lorenzo will also be the OIC for the Office of the Assistant Director for Information and Communications Technology Service.

 

Regional directors shuffled

Rommel Vallejo will be the acting regional director of the National Capital Region, Atty. Janet Francisco as regional director in the Cordillera Administrative Region, Hector Eduard Geologo for the Ilocos, and Arcelito Albao for Cagayan Valley. 

Eleanor Rachel Angeles was picked as the acting regional director for Central Luzon, Angelito Magno as Calabarzon’s regional director, Ferdinand Lavin as acting regional director for Mimaropa, Olivo Ramos as acting regional director for Bicol, Manuel George Jularbal as regional director for Western Visayas, Rennan Augustis Oliva for Central Visayas, and Emeterio Dongallo for Eastern Visayas.

Moises Tamayo was selected as the acting regional director for the Western Mindanao, Patricio Bernales as regional director for North Eastern Mindanao, Gelacio Bongngat for South Eastern Mindanao, Claro De Castro for Central Mindanao, Sally Hans as acting regional director for Caraga, and Victor John Paul Ronquillo as regional director for BARMM.  AG – gb
