DSWD gears up for Super Typhoon ‘Henry’

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) on Thursday, Sept. 1, distributed family food packs (FFPs) to different regions as part of their disaster preparedness for Super Typhoon “Henry.”

The DSWD Region II already distributed a total of 5,000 FFPs to the province of Batanes as well as 552 FFPs to the local government units (LGU) of Mahatao and 441 FFPs to Uyugan.

The DSWD said that they are prepared to give any assistance to regions that will be affected by Super Typhoon “Henry.”. – gb
