9,821 candidates to take 2022 Bar exams

About 9,821 candidates are expected to take the 2022 Bar examinations on Wednesday, Nov. 9, the Supreme Court (SC) announced.

This year’s Bar exams will begin on Wednesday, while the succeeding days of the test are set on Nov. 13, 16, and 20.

According to SC, of the 9,821 takers, 5,487 will be taking the bar exams for the first time, while 3,974 will be taking the exams for the second time or more.

The Bar exams will be held in 14 local testing centers nationwide: San Beda University, De La Salle University, Manila Adventist College, Ateneo de Manila University, University of the Philippines-Bonifacio Global City, Saint Louis University, De La Salle Lipa, University of Nueva Caceres, University of Cebu, University of San Carlos, Dr. Vicente Orestes Romualdez Educational Foundation, Xavier University, Ateneo de Davao University, and Ateneo de Zamboanga University.

Of the 14 testing centers, Ateneo de Manila University will have the largest number of examinees at 2,529, while the Ateneo de Zamboanga University will have the least number of takers at 267. -ag
