OCTA poll: Majority of Filipinos trust PBBM, VP Sara

Majority of Filipinos have high trust in President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., and Vice President Sara Duterte based on OCTA Research’s Tugon ng Masa survey released Wednesday, Nov. 30.

The survey showed that 86% of adult Filipinos trust Marcos, while only 4% said otherwise.

Across major areas, Marcos got the highest trust rate in Mindanao (92%), followed by Visayas (87%), Balance Luzon (84%), and National Capital Region (NCR) (82%).

In terms of socioeconomic classes, Marcos received the highest trust rating among Class E or “the poorest.”

Duterte also garnered high trust among adult Filipinos, also at 86%. Her highest trust rating is in Mindanao at 98%.

Meanwhile, Senate President Juan Miguel “Migz” Zubiri and House Speaker Martin Romualdez got trust ratings of 52% and 38%, respectively.

Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo got a trust rating of 24%.

The poll was conducted from Oct. 23 to 27 and surveyed 1,200 adults nationwide.

Previously, the Tugon ng Masa survey also revealed that 85% of Filipinos believe that the country is “headed in the right direction” under the administration of Marcos.
