Warm, humid weather across PH Wednesday

By Ma. Cristina Arayata | Philippine News Agency

Warm and humid weather will prevail across the country on Wednesday, the weather bureau said.

“The ridge of a high-pressure area, currently extending over Northern and Central Luzon, is the opposite of a low-pressure area. This means it would cause generally fair weather and slim chance of rains,” Benison Estareja of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

As PAGASA declared the start of the warm, dry season, warm and humid weather is expected.

Estareja, however, clarified that rains are still possible during this season due to localized thunderstorms.

PAGASA is also expecting at least one tropical cyclone each for March, April, and May.

He forecast a small chance of a tropical cyclone affecting the country in the next few days.

Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas continue to prevail over the entire archipelago. (PNA)
