The northeast monsoon or “amihan” and the shear line will bring scattered rains across the country Wednesday, the weather bureau said.

In its 4 a.m. weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said mainland Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, and Northern Quezon will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the shear line.

Meanwhile, cloudy skies with rains are forecast over Batanes and Babuyan Islands, while the Ilocos and Cordillera regions and the rest of Cagayan Valley will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.

The temperature in Metro Manila will range from 24°C to 30°C; Baguio City, 17°C to 24°C; Laoag City, 24°C to 32°C; Legazpi City, 25°C to 32°C; Metro Cebu, 25°C to 32°C; Puerto Princesa City, 25°C to 31°C; and Metro Davao, 24°C to 33°C.
