Diesel and kerosene prices will go up while gasoline prices will drop starting Tuesday.

In separate advisories on Monday, Seaoil and Shell said they would reduce gasoline prices by P0.10 per liter.

Diesel and kerosene prices, however, will increase by P0.75 and P0.50 per liter, respectively.

Shell said the price adjustments considered movements in premium freight and biofuel costs.

In a separate advisory, Petro Gazz said diesel would also increase by P0.75 per liter while gasoline prices would go down by P0.10 per liter.

Last week, oil firms raised diesel and kerosene prices by P0.50 per liter.

They also increased gasoline prices by P0.20 per liter.

The latest data from the Department of Energy showed that as of Oct. 29, oil companies implemented an increase of P0.20 per liter for gasoline and a rise of P0.50 per liter for both diesel and kerosene.

Year-to-date, the total adjustment of gasoline and diesel stands at a net increase of P8.75 per liter and P6.55 per liter, respectively.

On the other hand, kerosene has a total net decrease of P3.10 per liter.
