PNP gets P1.7-M office equipment donation

MANILA — Sixteen police offices in 3rd to 5th class municipalities in the country have received PHP1.7-million worth of office equipment from the Philippine National Police Foundation Incorporated (PNPFI).

PNPFI vice chairman Teresita Ang-See and treasurer Ramon L Lim led the turnover ceremony in behalf of foundation’s chairman, former PNP chief and now Senator Panfilo Lacson in Camp Crame on Wednesday.

The PNPFI Board of Trustees donated 44 sets of Intel Core I7th Gen i3 desktop computers, 22 printers, two projectors, one scanner, 11 DSLR cameras and six Portable Public Address System.

Aside from the office equipment, the donation also includes 20 Motorola handheld radios and 27 mountain bikes.

The equipment is primarily allocated for 13 police municipal stations, one city police station, one national support unit, and one national office in various 3rd, 4th, and 5th class municipalities nationwide.
