The northeast monsoon affecting Northern Luzon, and the easterlies affecting Southern Luzon and the Visayas will bring isolated to scattered rain showers or thunderstorms all over the country, the weather bureau said Wednesday.
Luzon will experience rain showers on Thursday due to the shear line and the northeast monsoon or "amihan" affecting the island, the weather bureau said.
The shear line is affecting the eastern sections of Southern Luzon and the Visayas, while the northeast monsoon or “amihan” is affecting the rest of Luzon, the weather bureau said Wednesday.
Several areas of Luzon and the Visayas will experience scattered rains due to the shear line and the northeast monsoon, the weather bureau said Wednesday.
The low pressure area (LPA) outside the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) has developed into a tropical depression on Monday, and is likely to enter PAR either late Wednesday or Thursday, the weather bureau said.
