Many areas in the country will continue to experience rains while a huge portion will also continue to experience warm weather with isolated rain showers, the weather bureau said Friday.
The southwest monsoon or habagat will bring rains and cloudy skies over several portions of Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao this Thursday, Aug. 17, according to the country’s weather bureau.

A low pressure area (LPA) has developed inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Thursday afternoon, while the southwest monsoon or habagat will continue to affect the country on Friday, Aug. 11, the state weather said.
The severe tropical storm outside the Philippine area of responsibility has no direct effect on the country and is not expected to enhance the southwest monsoon or habagat, the state weather bureau said Thursday, Aug. 10.
