The shear line will bring overcast weather over the Visayas and the northeastern portion of Mindanao on Saturday (Jan. 1), while the northeast monsoon affects Luzon.

MANILA – Scattered rains and thunderstorms will prevail over the Visayas and Mindanao due to the shear line, the weather bureau said on Thursday, Dec. 30.

The country will experience cloudy skies with some rains due to three weather systems, the weather bureau said on Tuesday, Dec. 28.

Most parts of the country will experience rains on the last Monday of 2021 due to two weather systems.

Cloudy skies with rain showers will prevail over Cagayan Valley and Bicol regions, the provinces of Apayao, Kalinga, Ifugao, Mountain Province, Aurora, and Quezon due to the northeast monsoon or amihan, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Sunday (Dec. 26).

Most parts of the archipelago will experience isolated rain showers on Christmas Eve, the weather bureau said on Friday (Dec. 24).
