Classes suspended in most parts of Central Luzon

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga — Classes in most parts of  Central Luzon were suspended on Monday as several areas in the region are expected to experience inclement weather brought about by the southwest monsoon enhanced by typhoon “Gardo”.

In the province of Bataan, classes in all levels, both in public and private schools, were suspended.

In Zambales province, classes from pre-elementary, elementary and senior high school in both public and private schools were also suspended.

In the highly-urbanized city of Angeles, suspension of classes in all levels in public and private was likewise declared.

Localized suspension of classes was also declared in the provinces of Bulacan and Pampanga.

In Bulacan, classes in all levels both in public and private schools were suspended in the towns of Marilao, Obando, Balagtas, San Miguel, San Ildefonso and in Meycauayan City.

In Pampanga, classes from elementary to senior high school levels in public and private schools were also suspended in the towns of Porac, Floridablanca and Magalang.

Meanwhile, pre-school to elementary levels in public and private schools were suspended in Mabalacat City.

Based on the regional weather forecast issued by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration as of 5 a.m., the provinces of Bataan, Zambales, Nueva Ecija,  and Tarlac will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms until 11 a.m.
