OWWA launches ‘Uwian Na’ portal for OFWs

The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) has launched the “Uwian Na” portal that aims to help Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) who wish to return to their respective hometowns under the “Balik-Probinsya, Bagong Pag-asa” program of the government.

According to OWWA Administrator Hans Leo Cacdac, OFWs who have tested negative for the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) are qualified to register at uwianna.owwa.gov.ph. This way, the OWWA will be able to pinpoint the provinces of each OFW and the hotels they will be staying.
