Palawan flights cancelled due to bad weather: MIAA

MANILA — Flights going to Palawan province from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport have been cancelled Tuesday due to bad weather.

In an advisory, the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) said the following flights were suspended as of 1 p.m.:

DG (CebGo) 6057/6058 Manila-Busuanga-Manila

Z2 (Air Asia) 438/439 Manila-Puerto Princesa-Manila

The state weather bureau, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), said in its forecast that an intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) is affecting southern Luzon and Visayas.

Metro Manila, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, Bicol, Mimaropa and Visayas will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rain and isolated thunderstorms caused by the ITCZ. (Aerol John Pateña/PNA)
