PCSO approves PhP 38-M medical assistance

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) has approved the release of PhP 38 million medical assistance to more than 4,000 marginalized Filipinos still in hospitals.

According to PCSO General Manager Royina Garma, the agency continues in helping marginalized Filipinos with no means to pay hospital bills.

The PCSO has given PhP 4.4 million to the National Capital Region (NCR), Php 9 million to Southern Tagalog and Bicol region, PhP 12 million to Northern and Central Luzon, Php 8 million to Visayas and PhP 5 million to Mindanao from April 20 to April 24.

GM Garma also emphasized that the PCSO is prepared to help the Filipinos especially in times of crisis. – PTV News
