PNP, inatasang magsagawa ng random visits sa quarantine hotels vs absentee quarantine

Nagbaba na ng direktiba si Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Eduardo Año sa Philippine National Police (PNP) na magsagawa ng random visit sa mga quarantine hotel laban sa modus na absentee quarantine.

Pahayag ito ni DILG Undersecretary Jonathan Malaya kasunod ng insidente ng pagtungo sa party sa Makati ng isang umuwing Pilipina, gayong dapat ay nananatili ito sa quarantine facility.

Ayon sa opisyal, magsasagawa ng random visit ang PNP upang matiyak kung nananatili ba sa mga hotel ang mga indibidwal na nasa listahan at dapat na sumasailalim sa quarantine.

Dito aniya sa Metro Manila ay nasa anim hanggang walo ang hotel para sa mga COVID- positive overseas Filipino workers (OFWs), habang nasa 150 naman ang Department of Tourism (DOT) accredited hotels.

Ipinag-utos na rin aniya ni Año ang pagsasagawa ng random visit sa mga business establishment upang matiyak na sumusunod rin sa Inter Agency Task Force (IATF) guidelines ang mga ito sa ilalim ng Alert Level 3. -ag
