PNP strictly monitors illegal selling of COVID-19 vaccine

The Philippine National Police (PNP) assured the strict monitoring of illegal selling of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccine in the market.

According to PNP Spokesperson Brigadier General Ildebrandi Usana, the police force is coordinating with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) amidst the report of having offered alleged vaccine with an emergency use authorization (EUA).

The FDA and Department of Health (DOH) clarified that the EUA is not a permission for the vaccine to be sold in the market. The COVID-19 vaccine must only be used in accordance with the COVID-19 vaccination prioritization framework. – PTV News
