Appointment paper of John Rualo Castriciones as ad interim Secretary of Department of Agrarian Reform

MANILA — Malacañang on Wednesday released another batch of appointees led by Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Secretary John Rualo Castriciones.

President Rodrigo R. Duterte signed Castriciones’ appointment paper on March 22 or four months after he was named acting secretary of DAR.

Castriciones replaced Rafael Mariano whose ad interim appointment was rejected by the Commission on Appointments (CA) in September last year.

Meanwhile, Duterte also appointed John Titus Jumamoy Vistal as Undersecretary of the Office of the Cabinet Secretary; Macacuna Moslem as Assistant Secretary of the Office of the President; and Joan Arango Lagunda as Assistant Secretary of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources.

Roderick Mari Planta has been appointed as Assistant Director-General of the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) and Daniel Abulencia Ariaso Sr. as Deputy National Statistician of the Philippine Statistical Authority and NEDA.

Malacanang also released the appointment of Howard Lance Andarda Uyking, replacing John Manalili as Director IV of the Bureau of Communications Services under the Presidential Communications Operations Office, and Jesus Urbi Calzado as Director IV of Department of Health.
