Senate probes alleged agri smuggling

Agriculture Secretary William Dar and some importers faced the Senate’s next investigation today (March 28) on the alleged large-scale smuggling of agricultural products in the country.

It can be recalled that a number of local farmers had already called the government’s attention on the influx of some imported and misdeclared agricultural products in the country. (PTV News)/VC- ag
