Special concern lockdown of 25 QC barangays eyed

Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles has recommended placing 25 barangays in Quezon City under special concern lockdown amid the high number of confirmed COVID-19 cases.

The suggestion of Nograles is currently being reviewed regarding the implementation of special concern lockdown on Barangay Tandang Sora, Commonwealth, Holy Spirit, Novaliches Proper, Pasong Tamo, Crame, Payatas, Socorro, Old Balara, Pinyahan, and San Roque.

Batasan Hills, Culiat, Fariview, Tatalon, Sauyo, Bahay Toro, Kamuning, Roxas, Bagbag, Baesa, and Kaligayahan were initially placed under the said lockdown.

Areas currently under lockdown are Sitio Ruby in Fairview, 238 Mayon Avenue in Maharlika, 950 Interior, Aurora Boulevard in Mangga, 113 Kamuning Road in Kamuning, Sitio Ambuklao in Baesa, parts of Sitio Cabuyao 6A in Sauyo, 72 Fulgencion Street, Sitio Lambak in Krus na Ligas, 17 Isarog Street in Sta. Teresita, and Valencia Hills Condominium in Valencia.
