Southern Luzon, the Visayas and Mindanao will continue to experience the effects of the “habagat” or southwest monsoon, the weather bureau said Saturday.
A huge part of the country will experience warm weather and rain showers due to the southwest monsoon and localized thunderstorms, the weather bureau said Monday, Aug. 14.
The enhanced southwest monsoon or “habagat” affecting Luzon and the Visayas due to the entry of Tropical Storm “Falcon” into the Philippine Area of Responsibility early Saturday will bring occasional to monsoon rains over a large part of the country, the weather bureau said.
The southwest monsoon or “habagat” will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over the western sections of Northern and Central Luzon, the weather bureau said Saturday, July 1.
The Inter-Tropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Palawan, the Visayas, and Mindanao will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies, with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms over most of the country, including Metro Manila, the weather bureau said Saturday, June 17.
The easterlies affecting the eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao will cause generally fair and warm weather over these islands, the weather bureau said Thursday, May 11.
