Two weather disturbances could possibly affect the country this week, a Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) forecaster said Monday, Aug. 29.
Most parts of the country will experience fair and warm weather due to a “monsoon break,” or a break in rainfall events, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Sunday, Aug. 28.
Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms are expected over Calabarzon, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Camarines Norte, and Camarines Sur on Saturday, Aug. 27, according to the country’s weather bureau.
Some areas in Luzon will continue to experience heavy rains and strong winds even after Severe Tropical Storm Florita has left the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Wednesday, the weather bureau said.
The center of Severe Tropical Storm Florita based on all available data from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), including those from Aparri Doppler Weather Radar, is now estimated to be over the coastal waters of Maconacon, Isabela.
