DOH educates on first aid to firecracker-related poisoning

In the event of poisoning from a firecracker, the Department of Health (DOH) advises the public to undertake these three steps. First, pull the victim away from the smoke of the firecracker in order to secure his breathing. Next, seek the help of medical experts. Last, do not conduct self medication. Instead, bring the victim to the nearest hospital. These steps would ensure the safety of the person whom got poisoned by a firecracker.
