VP bet Sara Duterte poses with Go

Vice presidential bet Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio posed for a photo with Senator Christopher “Bong” Go at the Hugpong ng Pagbabago-Hugpong sa Tawong Lungsod (HNP-HTL) miting de avance on Friday night, May 6.

Go, President Rodrigo Duterte’s long-time aide, was initially nominated as the standard bearer of the Cusi-led Partido Demokratiko Pilipino (PDP)-Laban.

In October, he filed his candidacy for the position of vice president under PDP-Laban. He eventually backed out of the vice presidential race and instead announced his bid for presidency under Pederalismo ng Dugong Dakilang Samahan (PDDS).

Go, however, filed his withdrawal from the presidential race in December after Duterte-Carpio launched her own campaign for the vice presidency.
