The IATF has approved the early implementation of IATF Resolution No. 157 which requires all passengers entering the Philippines to present a negative RT-PCR test result taken 48 hours before leaving the country they last visited.

According to acting Presidential Spokesperson and Cabinet Sec. Karlo Nograles, those coming to the country on or before Jan. 13 will have to follow the new quarantine protocols.
The newcomers from red and yellow list countries will be obligated to undergo facility-based quarantine.
The RT-PCR test will be carried out during the seventh day of quarantine for red listers and on the fifth day for yellow listers.
The home quarantine will continue until the 14th for those who are fully vaccinated, tested negative, and are from a red list country.
As for those coming from yellow list countries, vaccinated or not and have tested negative, they may also undergo home quarantine. -Report from Naomi Tiburcio/PG – bny
